Traditional bookbinding and repair work is often done with a cellulose-based paste.
Designed for use on porous surfaces, this paste an be used at every stage in the binding process on surfaces such as paper, card, leather and natural coverings. As the paste dries slowly, there is a chance to reposition surfaces to get an exact fit.
The paste is acid-free to ensure the archival quality of any repairs. The use of cellulose glue also enables a book to be easily dismantled years later. These archival principles are important for the preservation and on-going maintenance of important historical documents.
Available in a 350g jar or in a 2kg bucket which should cover approximately 6 square metres of surface.
