Peach Eaton first published this fascinating history of the Nelson Creek gold fields in a limited edition in 1976. She recently gave Lakeview Publishing permission to reprint it for a new generation of readers and the many tourists who visit this unique settlement. When Peach lived at Nelson Creek in the 1970s, she and her husband spent many days exploring the old diggings, and researching the history of the old mines and gold claims. Fifty years later, many of those locations are overgrown and disappearing, so her book helps to bring the district to life once again.
Paperback, 80 pages, slightly narrower than A4, black and white illustrations, 1 map in centre spread.
