After experimenting with many different weights of paper for endpapers, an experienced binder from the Dunedin Public Library recommended 150gsm offset, which we have found to be very suitable. We're offering 160gsm offset paper here as a cost effective alternative.
The paper is supplied at 450 x 320mm 50 or 10 sheets to a pack. The 10 sheets will be sent flat with a large order of other items, but may be sent in a roll or tube if the order is small.
Endpapers are available as either white or black paper. Black is a great choice for a classy look in your projects or for the restoration of vintage books.
We generally use this grade of paper for making the endpapers for hardcover books of any size. It's best if you fold the endpaper with the grain of the paper.
The paper can be easily cut with a craft knife and a straight edge, such as our 500mm stainless steel ruler. Check our great range of paper folder tools as well.
