The works of Jewish historian Flavius Josephus have survived since the days of Emperor Titus in Rome for a reason. They provide an unprecedented history of life in that era, and particularly, the struggles of the Jewish people against Rome. Josephus's account in The Destruction of Jerusalem provides an eye-witness account of how Christ's prophecies were fulfilled. This is of particular interest to Christian readers, and our understanding of how the early Church became separated from the Law of Moses under the Old Testament.

We initially intended to publish a short, tightly abbreviated version of this particular topic, but couldn't escape the importance of every page in the account. Our final volume contains Books 5,6, and 7 of The Wars of the Jews, as translated by William Whiston in the 1700s. Our  book encompasses the initial rebellion in Jerusalem, the siege, and the final taking of the fortress of Masada.

We have illustrated this with images from earlier copies of The Wars of the Jews, along with other historical material.

255 page paperback, A5 size.
