An economical alternative to our book vice is the book clamp.
These are made of various timbers that come to hand, such as New Zealand Oregon, European Spruce, rimu or other exotic and native timbers, The clamp is tightened with plum nuts and can easily hold a book while you glue the spine together.
The clamp is designed to handle books up to A4 size.
Each clamp is hand-made and finished with a coat of beeswax or oil to enhance and protect the timber. Your model may have a different finish from the one in these photographs as each unit is unique and photos are representative only. The clamp is sold fully assembled and ready to use.
