These bands are made of starched cotton, with a full width of about 13mm, The rounded section that sits above the page set is about 2mm wide. Sold in a length of 100 cm, so if you're using it on a 20mm thick pageset, you have 50 headbands, or enough for 25 books if you put a headband at each end of the pageset,

If you're adding a ribbon as a bookmark, this is normally glued on before the headband.
